A. All our video is encoded in Windows Media format at a speed of 512 Kbps and streamed at 282 Kbps, allowing for great quality and streaming speed.
Q. Is there a cost for becoming a viewer?
A.Viewing 'The Manifest-Station' is completely free. No sign-up. No hidden agenda. No Barriers. Just click, watch, and grow.
Q. How do I share The Manifest Station with my friends and loved-ones?
There are so many ways that you can help spread the love. You can share the link, embed a banner in your site or blog, utilize our tell-a-friend system, post our link in every last little corner of the net, and mention us to every single person you encounter throughout your day.
Q. Once I am a viewer am I locked in or making any kind of commitment?
A. Nope. We honour the powerful freedom to choose. If the information we sow doesn't resonate, simply fake us with a "HEY LOOK THAT WAY!! And then back-arrow out till you feel comfortable again.
Q. I'm in Reykjavik, Iceland - What time zone does your channel run on anyway?
A. Programming is set to Pacific Standard Time. You can find out what time it is in our neighborhood by clicking HERE!
Q. What can we expect from your channel in the future?
A.We ask ourselves that same question every single day and usually we are quite surprised with the answer.
Q. When I log on I just get a black screen - or worse, no screen! What gives?
A. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, it can take up to 30 seconds for the video to load. If you are on dial-up or have a slower internet connection, loading can take longer.
Q. OK, I have a great Internet connection, but I still don't see the video??
A. We stream in Windows Media format. Make sure that you install the most up-to-date Windows Media Player HERE.
Q. I have downloaded and installed Windows Media Player - still no video! - what next??
A. If you see a bar on the top of your browser that asks to allow ActiveX - press Allow.
Q. Nope. Nothin. Nada. No video at all. Any more suggestions?
A. If you still don't see video, make sure that www.themanifest-station.com is allowed through your firewall and a trusted site in IE.
Q. The video is choppy or I experience buffering while watching. How come, eh?
A. The speed of your internet connection will determine whether your receive a seamless stream or not. We stream at 282 Kbps, so your internet connection needs to be greater than that to view without issue. Making sure all other applications that use internet connectivity are closed while watching usually solves most concerns.

2. Pay-per-view Questions
Our Viewing Lounge was created to offer the world a central location for viewers to watch and learn from a wide variety of spiritually uplifting movies, workshops, and seminars. Since there are a wide variety of different home computers out there (Mac, Windows, Linux) that have different players installed (DivX, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc) and are each plugged into different types of Internet connections (ADSL, ISDN, Cable, T1, Dial-up, etc) - there's bound to be some questions. Click on the Pay-per-view title above to find answers about viewing our selections on your specific configuration.Q. What kind of video quality can I expect?
A. We stream video in full-screen, broadcast quality at up to 1.2 Mbps. In laymans terms, that means that the video is close or equal to DVD quality - providing you have a decent Internet connection.
Q. How do I make a purchase to view?
A. Simply click on one of the many links to enter the pay-per-view area of our online store. Make your selection by clicking 'buy now' or 'add to cart', proceed to the checkout, fill in the info, and then click on the active link (found on both the confirmation page or in your confirmation email) when you're ready to watch. From there you can select the player and Internet speed that best matches your personal computer.
Q. What kind of players do I have on my computer?
A.Click on this LINK to see all three players in action. If you can see the video playing, you've got the player already installed.
Q. What players do you utilize?
A.Typically we offer selections in DivX, Windows Media Player, and Quicktime. Because of the cross-system, cross-browser compatibility (and video quality), a number of selections are only offered in DivX. We suggest you download and install the DivX player prior to making a selection within the Lounge. Here is a link to download DivX Player.
Q. I clicked on the link in answer to the previous question...but now what do I do?
A. Click Save. A file called ‘DivXWebPlayerInstaller.exe’ will typically go to your desktop (or sometimes to your Mydocuments or downloads folder). To install:
- 1. Simply open the application by double clicking on it.
- 2. To continue, agree to the terms and conditions.
- 3. Unselect DivX Content Uploader (unless you want to upload videos to DivX’s website).
- 4. Click 'Next'
- 5. Click ‘Next’ or 'Finish'
- 6. Close out the browser that opened up to DivX’s Stage 6 Website.
- 7. Congradulations! You’re ready to watch movies with the DivX Player.
Q. What player do you suggest I use to view videos from the online Pay-per-view?
A. We suggest you use DivX because the player offers the best quality and is viewable from both Mac and PC using any browser (Firefox, IE, Safari). Full screen mode is also available with this player.
Q. The item I am ordering is out of stock - what do I do??
A. Yikes! If you experience this, please contact us immediately at 604.824.6786!
Q. I'd like to hear the sound of a frog ribbitting. Where can I find something like that?
A. Well, if you've got Quicktime installed, today is your lucky day indeed.
Q. O.K. I'm really curious why you have set a time-limit on viewing?
A. Simply put, bandwidth is an expensive commodity. Not installing a time-limitation would be like renting out cars with an unlimited gas tank and not charging for the gas.
We try to ensure that there is ample time within the limitation to watch each selection thoroughly, with popcorn-popping, a trip to the fridge, and at least a couple of pee-breaks factored in.
Q. And how's about the ip-restriction. Whats up with that?
A. Once a purchase has been made, and the link has been activated, it's important that the active link with the video on it isn't distributed freely across the 'ol world-wide-Inter-web. Not restricting the number of computers the pay-per-view video plays on would be like running an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant and only charging one guest per table.
Q. I accidentally turned off my computer while viewing - what do I do?
A. No problemo. Simply turn your computer back on, open your confirmation email, and click the link. If your time-period is still active, you'll be able to resume viewing without issue.
Q. I am getting choppy video / buffering. Why?
A. Chances are you have selected a video speed that is greater than the speed of your Internet connection. The best viewing occurs when all other applications and browser tabs are closed and you have selected the speed relative to your system. If you don't know what your internet connection speed is, you can check for free by clicking HERE.
Typically (although not always), we stream the video at 3 different speeds:
Slow (good quality picture) - 224 Kbps
Medium (better quality picture) - 447 Kbps
Fast (best quality picture) - 718 KBps
If the download speed that you have selected is lower than your connection speed, you may have to wait for short while (15 minutes or so) for the video to download prior to viewing seamlessly.
Q. My screensaver keeps coming on during the movie. Why?
A. If you have selected a player that does not disable your screensaver during viewing, you may need to enter your display settings through your control panel to disable your screensaver.
Q. I emailed my activated URL to a friend - but it didn't work for them. Why?
A. In order to control bandwidth expense, viewing access is ip-restricted to the computer that the 'Watch Now' or 'View Now' link is activated from. Any attempt to forward or utilize the viewing area URL more than once will be denied and the URL will expire automatically.
Q. I closed my browser by accident and I can't view the movie - what now!?!
A. No problem. Simply open your confirmation email and click the link. If your time period is still active, you'll be able to resume viewing without issue.
Q. I downloaded the player from the active video page but I don't see any video, why?
A. Media Players can be a little finicky at times with different systems. Simply reloading the page (hit the f5 button or click 'refresh') should take care of 95% of the problems.
Q. How long do I have to watch after purchasing a pay-per-view video?
A. Different videos have different viewing times associated with them. We really try to give ample time for your viewing pleasure and we highly suggest that you click the link only when you are ready to view.
If you wish to view the movie at a later time or date, simply check your inbox for a confirmation message that has the 'Watch Now' or 'View Now' link embedded in it (the link is in the invoice part, right beside the SKU# and Video Name). From here you can close out of the shopping cart and save the email for activation later, or forward the email with your own message added to friend.
Remember - once the link has been clicked on by you or a friend, the time limitation / single-time viewing is activated.

3. TheManifest-Station Toolbar
TheManifest-Station Toolbar is tailor-made for evolved and connected Internet users who want the best, most up-to-date information at the most convenient location - right on your web browser. Here you will find answers to your download, installation, and use questions.Q. Why don't I see TheManifest-Station toolbar on my browser?
A. If you have installed TheManifest-Station toolbar and do not see the icon, or you installed a new version of IE and TheManifest-Station toolbar is no longer displayed, go to View › Toolbars and click on TheManifest-Station option. If you don't see TheManifest-Station toolbar listed, follow the instructions below.
Q. How can I move TheManifest-Station toolbar to a different location?
A. Note: If you are using IE 6.0, you must unlock the toolbars before you can move them. Right click on the toolbar and deselect the Lock the Toolbars option.
You can change the location of TheManifest-Station toolbar on your browser by clicking and dragging the vertical separator bar to the left of TheManifest-Station icon by placing TheManifest-Station toolbar in the desired location. This functionality enables you to place two (or more) toolbars on the same line if you want to conserve space in your browser.
Please note that, as with all of IE's toolbars, you can only move TheManifest-Station toolbar to locations on the top of your browser window. Toolbars can not be placed on the side or bottom of the browser window.
Q. Why don't I see TheManifest-Station toolbar listed in the IE toolbars list?
A. Some earlier builds of IE 5.0 have a known problem with their toolbars. TheManifest-Station toolbar may be listed under the name 'Radio' (usually the second such listing). Go to View › Toolbars and click on the second Radio option.
Q. Does TheManifest-Station toolbar conflict with my browser or other add-ons?
A. No, TheManifest-Station toolbar is designed to run without affecting any other system add-ons.
Q. I'm using IE (6.0). Why doesn't TheManifest-Station icon appear on my browser?
A. In IE, go to View › Toolbars and check that TheManifest-Station option is selected. If not, select it.
Q. I'm trying to uninstall TheManifest-Station toolbar and get an error message. ???
A. Install TheManifest-Station toolbar again and then uninstall it.
Q. Do I need to pay for using TheManifest-Station toolbar?
A. No siree, TheManifest-Station toolbar is free of charge. FREE, FREE, FREE!
Q. When will you have TheManifest-Station toolbar available for other platforms?

Q. Do you support MSN Explorer?
A.At this time TheManifest-Station toolbar does not work with MSN Explorer.

The Manifest Station is the one of the largest Law of Attraction free-access resources on the internet. Q. Do I have to rent a studio if I want to create a show?
A. A studio is not absolutely necessary as the information being communicated is the most important factor. If you have any questions about filming, please call us at 604.824.6786
Q. What about sound quality?
A. We strongly urge you to invest / rent / borrow a higher quality microphone that plugs directly into your video camera. This is EXTREMELY important as your message is the focal point of the content that you are producing.
Q. What do you suggest in terms of video equipment?
A. The Internet is very forgiving of non-expensive equipment. Any video footage that is clear will work on the Internet. You can successfully use video camcorders or invest in higher end production equipment – the choice is yours. The most important is the value of the teaching content within.
Q. Does your platform allow for streaming in High Def?
A. Our pay-per-view platform can handle streaming full-screen in high-def at a speed of 1200+ Kbps. If you would like to Joint Venture with us and offer your professionally created content to our global community on a pay-per-view basis, please call us at 604.824.6786 (PST).
